No parent ever wants to hear the words "Your child has cancer".

In December of 2018 those very words were said to us. It was devastating, crippling, heart breaking, and so many other adjectives I can continue to use but those adjectives will never measure up to the actual physical, emotional, and mental comprehension of being told that diagnosis.

What mends all the above is our son being a survivor, a warrior, a blessing, a gracious gift from God that we get to call ours to watch him grow and flourish everyday in everyway. We are more than fortunate and take none of it for granted. And for that we always want a way to give back and help those little warriors and their families who are still fighting their battle - we are here and stand with you with all the love and support that we can provide. May God bless you always.

This September, again, my family and I are joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®.

Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – so they can focus on helping their child live. Because of our generous donors, St. Jude can provide children cutting-edge treatments not covered by insurance, at no cost to families.

When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was largely considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80%, and we won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
