I am very excited to attend my third St. Jude Walk/Run in Tulsa, Oklahoma with my amazing cousins! We all do this to support my sweet cousin Alexander…..Diagnosed in 2017., the family lived in Memphis for treatment pretty much all of 2018. They continue to go back yearly now for check ups. Alexander is currently 5 years brain cancer free post treatment. Their next appointment is in October - and he will be at 6 years!!! Alexander turns 14 in August and is going into the 7th grade at their local Montessori school. He’s into card collecting, Legos, cars, rocks & gems, and video games. Can I count on your donation to help me reach my goal?
I was amazed at what I learned….all that St. Jude does for these families and what these little, little children have to endure - St. Jude's makes it as good as it possibly can be under the circumstances. You never, ever know when one of the children in your life might be facing the same thing…..
I was in awe listening to adults, treated at St. Jude as children, speak at the last walk and are, of course, HUGE supporters! Alexander's Mom, my cousin Jillian was so grateful that they saved her son, she is now Director of Development at St. Jude's Research Hospital ALSAC!
