Why I Support St. Jude
This September, I’m joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. St. Jude won’t stop until no child dies of cancer or other catastrophic diseases.I’ve been supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for as long as I can remember. I will continue to support St. Jude until they reach their goal. Please help support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s lifesaving work of Finding Cures Saving Children and all without a penny paid by the children’s families by making a donation and/or joining the Walk/Run in person or virtually. When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was considered incurable. Since then, treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent.
And because St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
