Here we are! Year #11 Walking for our Alexa and each and every single one of our St. Jude kids and their families! I'm still elated and stand in awe that God blessed us with the desire of my heart last year when our NanaPapa Team raised $10,000 for 10 years Walking - $10,523 to be exact!! And $11,858 for our A Team! A huge heartfelt thanks to God and ALL who made that possible!! ❤ “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” Ephesians 3:20!
After 6+ years of intense treatment; chemo, radiation, stem cell transplant, immunotherapy, in Memphis, New York, Chicago, and Bloomington, and 5 years in remission, Alexa is now cancer-free and we thank the Lord for that! For with God, nothing shall be impossible! Luke 1:37! She will now go into the St. Jude Survivorship Program! My prayer is that she will continue to always be rid of this horrible disease that robbed her of her precious healthy childhood and that her testimony and success, through God’s grace and St. Jude, will bring hope and healing to any child and family going through this tough journey.
St. Jude continues to be amazing in SO MANY ways and I hope to always do my part to spread awareness and raise funds for them so other children have a chance to live - because we give.
