I've signed up for the St. Jude Walk/Run to help St. Jude find cures for childhood cancer. I am blessed that my children have not been touched by this awful thing called cancer. I do know other families whose children have not been as fortunate and have lost their battle with cancer, are currently going through a battle with cancer or went through a battle with cancer and are in remission. My own dad lost a younger brother to childhood cancer right before the doors of St. Jude opened. Some of the children of the families I know were treated at St. Jude or their affiliate hospital and some were not, but because of the life changing break throughs and discoveries in cancer research that keep happening at St. Jude, children who have cancer all over the world have access to it. I need you to help me reach my fundraising goal. Support me by making a donation or by joining my team.
Why I support St. Jude:
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall survival rate for childhood cancer from less than 20% when we first opened our doors to 80% today. St. Jude won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.
- St. Jude freely shares the discoveries it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for anything – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
