Why We Support St. Jude

My daughter Reagan has always been my Number One Girl. Twelve years ago, she was diagnosed with cancer, osteosarcoma. We went straight to St. Jude, the best place in world to treat pediatric cancers. Major surgery...learning to walk anew...11 months of chemotherapy.  She's been cancer-free now for 12 years post treatment and graduated in May from LSU in Chemical Engineering.  Today, she’s thrilled to be enrolled in LSU Law School, and I'm thrilled too. The Lord’s blessings abound!

Since its founding over 60 years ago, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has helped push the overall survival rate for childhood cancer from 20 percent when their doors first opened to more than 80 percent today—but there is still work to be done. And because St. Jude freely shares their discoveries, every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
