Why We Walk

For our KinderCare family, the St. Jude Walk is more than just a walk—it’s personal.

We walk in honor of Willow, one of our precious infants who has bravely battled cancer and, due to the progression of her illness, has recently been placed in hospice care. Willow and her family have touched our hearts in ways that words simply cannot express, and we carry them with us in every step.

We also walk for our director’s son, who is currently a patient at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We have seen firsthand the hope, care, and support St. Jude provides to children and their families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

We walk for Willow. We walk for our director’s son. We walk for every child fighting cancer and every family standing beside them.
