This year, as the Volunteer Co-chair, I’m a part of the team helping organize the St. Jude Walk 2026 in Austin, to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which provides life-saving treatment to children with cancer, in need, at no cost.

This mission means a lot to me. I grew up volunteering for children battling cancer through COKSEV, an organization my mom founded in Turkey. I later helped launch the first summer school for children with cancer in Turkey.

I’ve seen firsthand how much events like these mean to the families, both emotionally and financially.
