Why We Support St. Jude
At TScan Therapeutics, we are dedicated to creating life-changing T cell therapies for patients with cancer and their families. From the smallest details that come together to get clinical trials up and running to the sacrifices patients and families make to receive care, we know cancer impacts more than just the patient. We know overcoming cancer isn’t one straight shot. Our scientific approach is multiplexed and so too is our support for the wider community fighting cancer. That’s why this September, for our second year in a row, we’re joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was considered incurable. Since then, treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent.
And because St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
