I’m joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. By participating in the St. Jude Walk, I am helping to cure childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
✨ Let’s Help Me Reach My St. Jude Goal! ✨
Okay friends, I’m asking for a little help with something that means A LOT to me!
As many of you know, my sweet nephew Noah fought cancer and was a St. Jude patient. While we ultimately lost Noah in November under different circumstances, I will always be incredibly grateful for St. Jude and the time, care, and memories they helped give our family. ❤
And one of the things I love most about St. Jude is that once a St. Jude patient, always a St. Jude patient. Families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, food, or anything else while their child is being treated at St. Jude. That allows families to focus on what matters most — their child.
And I have to tell you one of my favorite full-circle Noah stories… because I truly believe he had a hand in getting me where I am today. ✨
The very first time Noah went to St. Jude, my mom (Grammy) went with him because they expected it to be a 2–3 month stay. She was dealing with a debilitating migraine one night, so she ordered Domino’s for dinner for herself and Noah.
When the delivery driver arrived, she went to hand him $20 and told him to keep the change for his tip. He looked at her and said, “Oh, there’s no charge for St. Jude patients.”
She was shocked. “What?!”
And she said, “Well, there’s your whole tip!”
Fast forward all these years later… and here I am, working for MAC Pizza, a franchisee of more than 100 Domino’s locations.
Tell me that doesn’t feel like a full-circle story. I truly believe Noah played a part in me getting this job and bringing me to a company that supports a cause that has been such a huge part of my family’s story.
And here’s the really amazing part: St. Jude doesn’t just treat children with cancer. They invest heavily in research, working to better understand childhood cancers, develop new treatments, improve survival rates, and make sure that kids diagnosed in the future have better options and better outcomes.
Because the reality is… when you look at your child, your grandchild, your niece, your nephew, or that little kiddo you love more than anything, you never imagine they could become one of those statistics. We didn’t either.
But childhood cancer can affect any family. And research is one of the biggest ways we can work toward a future where those statistics look very, very different.
So I’ve set a goal of $500 for our team and St. Jude, and I’d LOVE to hit it!
Whether you can donate $5, $10, $25, or simply share this post, every little bit helps! And who knows… maybe your donation today helps give another family the extra time, memories, and hope that St. Jude gave ours.
Let’s make Noah’s memory part of something bigger. ✨
Help me hit $500 for St. Jude!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for supporting something that is so incredibly close to my heart.
