I’m joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. By participating in the St. Jude Walk, I am helping to cure childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Can I count on your donation to help me reach my goal?
Because of generous donors, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – so they can focus on helping their child live. By donating to my fundraising efforts, you are helping to make that possible.
Thank you for supporting me and the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude today.
How I am fundraising!
One week before the St Jude Walk in Boston, I plan to race Grindstone 100, a 104-mile race around the Shenandoah Valley national forest. With 21,000 feet of elevation gain, it will, no doubt, be a grueling challenge for me. But, make no mistake! This will be literally a walk in the park, compared to the heartbreaking news many families face when their little ones are diagnosed with cancer.
St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Their patients are kids who dance, participate in sports, travel and everything in between. They come from all 50 states and around the world. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live to the fullest!
This is thanks to all the generous donors like you.
I am pledging to donate $1 for every mile I run at Grindstone, and $1 for every mile in all other races leading up to it.
Do you want to join me on this journey, and do our small part in ending childhood cancer?
