My great niece Annaleigh was 7 years old when her doctors in Louisiana said she had an inoperable brain tumor because it was too close to her brain stem and gave her between 4-6 months to live. They suggested her family contact St. Jude's hospital in Memphis to see if they could do something for her. St. Jude's hospital reviewed her medical files and performed a successful surgery at that time and then again a year later when the tumor grew back. She now returns to St. Jude's hospital only once a year to ensure that nothing has returned. We thank God and St. Jude's hospital for her life. She is now 14 years old and doing fine. There has NEVER been any costs for the surgeries, continued follow up tests nor for the travel from New Orleans to Memphis. I try to do my part for St. Jude's by asking for donations to help other families in need.
i’m joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. By participating in the St. Jude Walk, I am helping to cure childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Can I count on your donation to help me reach my goal?
Because of generous donors, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – so they can focus on helping their child live. By donating to my fundraising efforts, you are helping to make that possible.
Thank you for supporting me and the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude today.
