That's why again this year, my Family and Friends, representing Team PeaceLoveAlanna, signed up to fundraise for the 2026 St. Jude's Walk/Run to help find cures for childhood cancer.
We walk in memory of and in the honor of my beautiful grand-daughter Alanna Marcotte. Alanna was one of the first patient's to participate in a clinical trial at St' Jude's to treat Osteosarcoma and we learned first hand what a truly AMAZING place St' Jude's is while they were treating her. No family EVER receives a bill for any treatment or ANY of the costs associated with any treatment that may arise. St. Jude's is truly an amazing place, opening their doors and helping children from all 50 states and from around the world.
Since it's founding more than 50 years ago, St' Jude's Children Research Hospital has helped push the overall survival rate for childhood cancer from 20 percent when their doors first opened to more than 80 percent today--but there is still work to be done. That's why I'm walking and fundraising for St. Jude's--to help save more children's lives. Please help me, my Family and our Team PeaceLoveAlanna help St. Jude's to END childhood cancer.
