Every step helps save lives. That’s why I, along with my Pediatric Oncology Club, have joined the nationwide movement to fundraise for the St. Jude Walk in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. As a student deeply committed to pursuing a career in pediatric oncology, supporting St. Jude’s mission is incredibly meaningful to me.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital provides life-saving care to children battling cancer — regardless of their family’s ability to pay — and leads groundbreaking research that brings hope to families everywhere. Through my involvement in the Pediatric Oncology Club, I’ve learned just how critical this support is for patients and their loved ones.

By walking and fundraising, we’re not only raising money — we’re standing in solidarity with children fighting cancer, supporting their families, and pushing for a future with better treatments and higher survival rates. I walk because I believe in compassion, in science, and in the power of community to make a difference.
