Once again my family and I are participating in the St. Jude Walk to help raise money for this miracle-working hospital. Such an amazing place!
As most of you know, my granddaughter Taryn was diagnosed with a brain stem tumor when she was just 2 1/2 years old. It was such devastating news, and we felt so lost and helpless. Then Taryn was accepted as a patient at St. Jude’s, and they were the answer to our prayers. Not only did they treat her tumor, they supplied an apartment, food, diversion activities for Taryn, airplane tickets, and most importantly - quality care by nurses and doctors with the utmost compassion. (And, as they advertise, never a bill for any of their services!)
Today Taryn is a happy 9 year old, thanks in no small part to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
That’s why I’m walking and raising money for St. Jude’s, and I hope you will support me in any way you can. Even if all you can offer up is prayers and encouragement, it will be much, much appreciated. But of course, a small donation would be great too!
