Why We Support St. Jude
Team Mighty Miles
Miles was diagnosed on 10/26/2020 with B-Cell ALL leukemia and has undergone treatment over nearly 5 years at St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital in Memphis. Because of a relapse in April 2021, he had a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) in Sept of that year. The BMT put him in remission from leukemia, and he came home right before Christmas of 2021. Since then he's had various side effects such as Graft vs. Host Disease, but he's progressed very well since Fall 2024. He's now fully off of all ongoing medication (as of Spring 2025) and remains in remission! None of this would be possible without the world-class care he's received at St. Jude. And, of course, we have not paid ONE dime since he was admitted nearly 5 years ago.
Every step helps save lives. That?s why our team has signed up to fundraise for the St. Jude Walk as we join the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most ? the kids of St. Jude.
Can we count on you to make a donation or join our team?
St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
In addition to supporting groundbreaking research, your donation or participation also helps ensure families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food ? so they can focus on helping their child live. You can help us make a difference.
Thank you for supporting us and the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude today.
