As the current Chaplain and Philanthropy Chairman for Tau Kappa Epsilon at Christian Brothers University, I am committed to supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Being apart of this organization has blessed me with numerous opportunities to grow and succeed as an individual, and fundraising for the kids of St. Jude is definitely near the top of my list.
Danny Thomas, the founder of this amazing hospital, once said “I’d rather have a million people give me a dollar than one give me a million." This statement has held true to this day, and Danny would be proud. 75% of the hospital's donations come from individual donors like you, donating an average of $43.25, that acknowledge all of the phenomenal change that St. Jude is making in the lives of not only the families that walk through the doors each day, but those around the world.
Thanks to donors like you, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. Along with this, discoveries made at St. Jude are shared freely around the world, fully accessible to doctors, nurses, and patients at the click of a button.
Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
Please consider donating towards my page so that one day, no child will die in the dawn of life.
