As a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon, I have had the pleasure of visiting the Memphis Campus. While visiting St. Jude it was honestly mind blowing. Walking around the hospital seeing the families, the doctors, and the countless other people that make the hospital function was insane. It takes over 2 million dollars each day to open the doors of St. Jude and as long as those doors are open they will not give up until no child dies of childhood cancer.
One of St. Jude’s top goals is to make sure that the family’s focus is on making sure their child is comfortable and happy. No family should have to worry about how they’re going to pay for everything while their child lies in a hospital bed. St. Jude covers all expenses for the family so that they don’t have that worry.
With all that being said. St. Jude truly cares about each individual patient. Not only in their US locations but at their sister hospitals all over the world. They will do whatever it takes.
