Since 1954, the Fort Lauderdale Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. has been dedicated to being a “beacon of light” to the community and inspiring acts of service in the public interest. That’s why we’ve partnered with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in their noble mission to find cures for children fighting cancer, sickle cell, and other life-threatening childhood illnesses. Thanks to the humility of Gateway Church and Miami Gardens Church of Christ, and the generosity of all our donors, The Sunday of Hope service raised over $5,000. But why stop there? Please, continue to support our efforts to raise money to assist St. Jude in their valiant fight against pediatric illness. We need your help to reach our new fundraising goal of $7,000. It doesn’t matter how much you give. Every contribution is meaningful because every dollar counts!
How your donation helps:
Families NEVER receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so parents can focus on what’s important, helping their child live. Your contribution makes a real difference in the life of a child!
St. Jude shares all the breakthroughs it makes with doctors and scientists around the world. Meaning every dollar you donate goes a long way toward making real global change!
You're helping an organization with a proven track record of success. Since it opened in 1962, the treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80%. And we won't stop until that’s 100%, because no child should die from cancer, sickle cell, or any other catastrophic illness!
