Hi all, Finn here, welcome to my personal fundraising page!
I’m joining St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and PAWS for St. Jude to help cure childhood cancer. Treatments invented at St. Jude helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to 80 percent since the hospital opened more than 50 years ago.
But fur real—80 percent isn't good enough. We won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
Pediatric cancer treatment can be ruff, and that’s where our furry friends Huckleberry and Puggle come in! They’re the official staff therapy dogs at St. Jude through the Paws at Play Hospital Dog Program.
Huckleberry and Puggle have very important jobs and are always there to help St. Jude kids feel safe and comfortable during treatment, take medicine, get moving after surgery or during long hospital stays, and reduce stress by providing the best snuggles.
My hooman and I will be logging at least 80 walks from now (May 2nd) until September 1st to kick off Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! You can help cheer me on by joining Team Puggle or Team Huckleberry or by donating to my goal. Together, we can help make a PAWSitive difference for the kids of St. Jude!
