I graduated in April 2019 from Baptist College of Health Sciences in Memphis. I majored in Radiation Therapy & I now am a certified Radiation Therapist at Greenwood Leflore Hospital in Greenwood Mississippi. Radiation Therapy is a method of cancer treatment. As a student, I rotated though St. Jude. I learned so much from the team I worked with as well as the patients. I saw first hand the strength of these children, their parents & the staff of St. Jude & I was honored to be a part of their story. I will forever continue to make an effort for this cause & by doing so, I am asking for donations to St. Jude with the St. Jude Barrel Jam that I will be competing in at the end of February here in Memphis, TN. Here is a link to donate though my team with the St. Jude Barrel Jam.
I am raising funds to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital's lifesaving mission of finding cures for children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases, and I need your help to reach my fundraising goal.
How your donation helps:
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. We won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
- St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. St. Jude freely shares the discoveries it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
Thank you for your support! Together we can help St. Jude change the world.
