In October 2014, my little brother had a seizure. Shortly after in November, we found out there was a mass pressing against his right temporal lobe. December 1st, 2014 is the day our lives were changed forever. We found out Price had Glioblastoma, a stage 4 brain cancer. A surgery to remove the tumor was soon scheduled, and our journey to rid him of this awful disease began. He began remission Spring of 2015, and we had an amazing summer. Sadly, August of 2015 the cancer had come back in three places. December 26, 2015 I lost my baby brother to this cancer. My life has never been the same, but thanks to St. Jude we could focus on the loss of Price instead of having to worry about a ton of medical bills.
All while Price was fighting this cancer, I was on the Arkansas High School rodeo team and I was competing for a spot at nationals. The competition was tough, so I couldn’t miss any rodeos. My parents didn’t want me to stop my life for this, because me staying busy was the only thing keeping me together. I was able to compete in every rodeo, without having to worry about the costs piling up, all because of St. Jude. We are forever grateful for this amazing place, and we will always donate to them. Help us raise money so they can continue to get these families through treatment without them having to pay a penny!! Every cent counts!
Thank you for your support! Together we can help St. Jude change the world.
