My name is Hollis, and I’m 14 years old. I happen to be a pretty good soccer juggler. In the fall of 2013, when I was 8, my mom told me about St. Jude where kids are just like me, except that they have cancer. They are treated FREE OF CHARGE at St. Jude, getting the best cancer care in the world. The following summer, when I was 9, I started using my soccer skills to support St. Jude’s lifesaving mission. LONG story short, I'm in my 6th year of juggling for St. Jude, and I've juggled my way to the total amount you see on the left side of this page. It's taken a lot of work and has come from a lot of very generous donors (more than 1,000 individuals have contributed!), but we have more work to do! I also do public speaking about St. Jude, childhood cancer, and how all young people like me can find a way to give back.
Here’s a video of my current record of 4,202 juggles, which I got on July 1, 2019. It took 44 minutes, 34 seconds, which is a pretty long time to be juggling! I’ll keep juggling every day, because I know that the more I juggle, the more money I can raise! I hope you'll join the fight against childhood cancer with a donation today!
How your donation helps:
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. We won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
- St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. St. Jude freely shares the discoveries it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
Thank you for your support! Together we can help St. Jude change the world!
