Ray Keshavlal Thakkar, age 69, passed away on February 10th, 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia after a long battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully while surrounded by family and friends. Ray was born on September 14, 1949 in Gujarat, India. Ray was a graduate of the University of Southern California and had majored in Electrical Engineering. He will be lovingly remembered for his vibrant personality, his generosity towards others in need, and his life’s work as a hotel entrepreneur. He is also known for his sense of humor, his delicious spicy food, and his love for the Indian arts. He lived life to the fullest and continuously lifted others up with his positivity. He is survived by his beloved wife Parvati, his two sons, his daughter-in-law, his four grandchildren, and many other siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. He adored his family and his family adored him. Ray was a man who loved people, especially children.
