In honor of Erica's 40th and Joel's 70th birthday, we are hosting a charity ride at Flywheel in Scarsdale on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 1pm. The class will be taught by Erica's dear friend, and Flywheel master instructor, Natalie Cohen Gould. We will have wine, champagne and snacks to follow.
As many of you know, Erica's mom, Susie Lehrman, is courageously fighting cancer (with a smile). In honor of her fight, we are trying to raise money to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital -- an amazing organization supported by Susie that is doing great things to end cancer in children.
You can register for the ride by e-mailing JoBeth Penalba at jpenalba@flywheelsports.com. The ride is free, but we would ask anyone participating to make a donation to St. Jude. Please donate on this page.
If you want to bring your kids, we will have a babysitter on hand to watch them during the ride.
We hope you can join us and appreciate your support of this terrific cause that is so important to all of us.
How your donation helps:
- Thanks to donors like you, no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
Join me! Together we can help St. Jude change the world.
