The Bethlehem Township Police Association (Northampton County, Pennsylvania) picks up where it left off last year, welcoming back the month of "Noshember." They'll be growing hair for those who can't this year with an even bigger fundraising goal of 3600 dollars!
This No Shave November, we join together to help aide in the research and care from St Jude Children's Research Hospital. To once and for all help find a cure for children suffering from a multitude of different cancers.
Once again, with full support from the Bethlehem Township Chief of Police, Daniel Pancoast, Officers are going to participate in "Noshember," by donating money to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in order for the Chief of Police to waive the department's policy regarding shaving. Officers will be penalized (required to donate additional money) should they: shave, have the grayest beard, have the patchiest beard, have the fullest beard, or have the longest beard.
Since the Officers participating are always in contact with the public, they hope to spread the word of the fundraiser and the need for donations to St. Jude just by being visible in public with their unkempt faces.
The Bethlehem Township Police Association invites all to participate. Consider skipping that haircut this month. Forget about buying that razor or shaving cream. Maybe even skip that waxing appointment. And take whatever cost that was going to be, and donate it to help children fight these aggressive forms of cancer.
Officers will be donating $30.00 to have the policy waived; an additional $20.00 should they shave; and $10.00 extra should they end up with the most, or least desirable growth. Any donation, however much, is greatly appreciated. 100% of the funds received go directly to the Research Hospital.
This fundraiser is an effort of the Bethlehem Township Police Association. We request that any contribution you make be made by December 31, 2017. Thank you in advance for your contribution.

How your donation helps:
- Thanks to donors like you, no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
Join Us! Together we can help St. Jude change the world.
