Climbin4Kids was started in 2021 by a small group of linemen going to compete at the International Lineman's Rodeo held in Kansas City. Their goal was to raise money and awareness for St. Jude's Children's Hospital, which helps families during their greatest time of need. The team not only had success at the rodeo competition with several stage appearances, but more importantly raised $5,500. Their efforts were well received and the following year Ameren Illinois (an electric and natural gas utility), and the International Lineman's Rodeo Association (ILRA) joined the cause. That year, in a collaborative effort, they raised $44,000. In 2023, with the generous help of both organizations, countless volunteers, and an amazing amount of donations from vendors, rodeo participants and spectators, Climbin4Kids was able to raise over $110,000.
Climbin4Kids is proud to say that 100% of donations go directly to St. Judes Children's Hospital. This goal is achieved through the many volunteers, generous monetary donations, and items donated to be raffled. We also support fundraising events, both large and small, as every dollar is valuable. St. Judes uses these funds to help families cover expenses, fund research of childhood cancers, and hopefully someday find a cure.
This truly is a team effort and cannot be done without your support. If you have any questions, fundraising ideas, would like to help in our efforts, or would like information to get your company/organization involved, please feel free to contact us at: Climbin4Kids@gmail.com
Thank you for your support,
