Since middle school, I have known I wanted to be a doctor when I grew up. Coming into high school and learning more about the importance of medicine and health has only solidified that I want to help people in times of sickness, and even make advancements to the medical community when I'm older. This is why St. Jude's initiative is so important to me. I have been selected to join St. Jude Leadership Society and have made a commitment to my leadership growth and development while supporting and serving St. Jude Children's Research hospital's lifesaving mission of finding cures for children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases. As I move through this wonderful leadership development journey, I need your support and help to reach my fundraising goal and allowing me to continue on this journey.

- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. We won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
- St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. St. Jude freely shares its groundbreaking discoveries, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists can use that knowledge to save thousands more children around the world.
