Hunter's Victory:

After a year and a half fight against Ewing Sarcoma at St Jude, with broken hearts, we share the sad news that our Hunter passed away on May 31, 2023.

We praise God for the incredible blessing of sharing life with our precious son, Hunter Joseph! He was a warrior for Christ in every way! His sweet spirit, infectious laughter, intimate love, zeal for life, and genuine kindness will be missed every day of our lives.

It has been an absolute honor to watch his courageous bravery in the face of aggressive cancer. I want to assure you that Hunter won that war! Cancer did not steal his joy, it did't break his spirit, and it most assuredly did not crush his faith. Rather, his spirit remained joyful and steadfast in his love for Jesus and his trust in God!

We are heartbroken by our loss, and yet we also celebrate Hunter's victory! He has finished his race so well! His faith never waivered! Hunter said it perfectly just a few days ago: "I'm no servant of cancer! I'm a servant of Jesus!" And he is now safely in the arms of his Savior, Jesus, whom he loves!

Why we support St. Jude Runs:

We want to say thank you and give back to St Jude, as they helped our family in so many amazing ways. We never received a bill from St Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food - so we could focus on helping Hunter in his fight against cancer.

St. Jude Runs is more than a run — together we are going the distance to support the mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital: Finding cures. Saving children.®

Can we count on you to support our team and help the kids of St. Jude? Get involved by joining our relay team or by making a donation to one of our team members.

Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent since it opened 60 years ago— but there is still work to be done.

St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer, and neither will we. Will you support us by joining our team or by making a donation today? Let’s cross the finish line together!
