Why I support St. Jude:
Last May - we received news that our nephew (pictured above) was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Throughout 2023, "J" was put through multiple rounds of chemotherapy and treatment to help fight against the awful disease.
He missed family vacations, Christmas and lots of other things that a 7 year-old kid should never have to miss.
THANKFULLY "J" has delt with his treatment well and is on the road to a full recovery! He's enjoying a fun summer and looking forward to heading back to school in the fall. There's even a good chance of him being able to attend our wedding here in Illinois this December as a ring bearer.
If the little guy can go through all of those treatments and hospital visits - my flabby-butt can run in a race this Saturday.
Please consider donating whatever you can to help raise awareness for this type of cancer, so that kids all over the world can live the happy and healthy lives they deserve. We greatly appreciate your support of "J" and his battle back.
My run updates on Saturday will be posted on my Instagram page: @TCRBrad
Why St. Jude?
Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent since it opened 60 years ago— but there is still work to be done.
St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer, and neither will I. Will you support me by making a donation today? Let’s cross the finish line together!
