This is myfirst year, of hopefully many, as part of the relay team for the St. JudePeoria Run. A friend askedme to run St. Jude this year and I told her I didn't think I could handle therun. Then an old friend of mine posted about his 2 year old nephew Brigham thatwas just diagnosed. That was my sign that it didn't matter how out of shape Iam, I need to do what I can to help this amazing charity and spread awareness.
Thanks to generous donors:
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer, and neither will I. Will you support me by making a donation?
