I am running in the Mason City to Peoria St. Jude run this year. In April of 2013, my 4 year old sister, Kylie, was diagnosed with T-Cell ALL. This in a form of leukemia. She initially spent 7 weeks down at St. Jude in Memphis. After that, she did treatment at both the Peoria Affiliate and St. Jude in Memphis. Not only did St. Jude treat Kylie, but they also made funding available for me and my brother to go visit her while she was receiving treatment in Memphis. This past January, Kylie went down for her 3 year post treatment appointments, and was still cancer free and the doctors said they felt confident in saying she was cured. Without the donations from people like you, I don't believe this would have been possible. Any amount you can afford to donate would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
I'm part of this year's relay team for the St. Jude Peoria Run. Please help me reach my fundraising goal for the kids of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, who are battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Thanks to generous donors:
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer, and neither will I. Will you support me by making a donation?
