I cannot believe I am saying this, but fourteen years ago my journey began with the St. Jude Run family. My classmate, Zachary Allen, passed away from neuroblastoma at the age of thirteen. After Zach had passed away, I knew I wanted to run for him and all the other kids of St. Jude. I would have never thought fourteen years later, I would still be doing the run. The St. Jude Run has become a part of me and always will be.
The St. Jude Run is not a race, it is all about raising money for the kids and having fun doing it. I have been able to raise $15, 700.11 since I became a part of the St. Jude Run family. I would not have been able to raise the money without the support of my family and everyone who has donated to me over the years. All your thoughts, support, prayers, and donations allow me to run each year for the kids of St.
The St. Jude Bartonville Satellite Run is on Saturday July 18, 2020! In order to participate in the Bartonville to Peoria Satellite Run, I need to raise $1,000. All your donations are tax deductible and 100% of your donations go to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. St. Jude families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food. All that a family should have to worry about is helping their child live. Your donations help make this possible because they go towards helping find a cure for cancer. St. Jude won’t stop until no child dies from cancer and neither will I. The deadline for your donation is July 16, 2020! Please make checks payable to St. Jude. Thank you!
