For the tenth consecutive year, I am running for the kids from St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Last year was virtual, I hope this year is for real. What matters most is you helping me raise money for the kids.
My brother died from leukemia when I was ten. I promise you it hurts more now than it did then.
On July 16th and 17th our local team will participate in a relay-style run, 101 miles from Champaign-Urbana to Peoria. We leave downtown Champaign early on Friday evening and we run through the night to arrive in Peoria the following afternoon. In Peoria we will join over one thousand other runners coming from all over the State of Illinois.
Thanks to generous donors:
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food -- because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer, and neither will I. Will you support me by making a donation?
