In 2010 a small group from a small little town in western Illinois got together to support a brave young lady that was battling cancer. We decided running in the St. Jude run from Macomb to Peoria was a great was to raise support for her family and others that rely on the help from St. Jude's Children's Hospital as they battle cancer. Although it seems like yesterday, that was a few years ago. St. Jude is a wonderful organization and the support we raise allows parents to worry about the well-being of their child going through a terrible time rather than having to worry about the bills.
I'm part of this year's relay team for the St. Jude Peoria Run. Please help me reach my fundraising goal for the kids of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, who are battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Thanks to generous donors:
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer, and neither will I. Will you support me by making a donation?
