We are running this year, as we do every year, in memory of Zach's cousin and childhood best friend, Luke, who lost his life to cancer at the age of 15. We run to honor his memory and to help other children today with cancer survive and thrive.
The current pandemic has wreaked havoc on our world, our country, our lives, and our economy. There are a lot of people hurting out there and a lot of financial need. But cancer does not stop because of the coronavirus and these kids still need our help.
Money raised through the St Jude Runs pays for life-saving research, and every dollar counts. Patent families at St Jude never get a bill. Never. That is simply remarkable and it needs to continue. St. Jude freely and openly shares its research worldwide so that breakthroughs here save lives all over the world.
We know there are people struggling out there and we don't want anyone to feel obligated to give. For those who are able to give, we are so thankful for your support and generosity. We are going to get past this pandemic and with our help St. Jude is going to continue saving kids' lives.
