Why I support St. Jude:
Bryant Jr., is a vibrant and sweet 3 year old boy who loves to pretend to cook, help clean, play with trains and cars and ride his tricycle. On August 5th, 2021 Bryant’s world was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with Pre B Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. He and his family were quickly referred to St Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis Tennessee for the beginning of further testing and treatments. Bryant Jr and his family live in our community, Mom has been sharing their journey all the ups and downs, the unbelievable support and care they are receiving from St Jude and “Childhood cancer needs so much more funding.”
This family is only one of so many that NEED St Jude Children’s Hospital and why I am blessed to help support them with our annual St Jude RUN to Peoria. 2022 is our 10th year as a team, we kick off from Monticello on Friday August 5th – which just happens to be the day Bryant’s family received his diagnosis!
My hope that by sharing Bryant Jr’s journey, you will be inspired to donate today to all those in need at St Jude. Because, “No child should die in the dawn of life.” ~ Danny Thomas, Founder of St Jude Children’s Hospital. Thank you!
