If you’re anything like me, over the last few months you’ve been wishing for things to get back to normal. So here’s a little normal, from me to you. It’s my annual request for your support of the St. Jude Memphis to Peoria Run.
Speaking of wishing things would be back to normal — can you imagine how often the families of sick children feel that way? Nothing is normal for a child with cancer, or their families. They spend their days fighting and praying and hoping that someday, normal life will return. That’s where we come in.
Even during this time, cancer doesn’t stop. So, neither will the St. Jude Memphis to Peoria Run. We won’t be traveling to Memphis, and we won’t spend four days running home. But we will be covering the 465 miles and doing all we can to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and bring awareness to this cause. From July 14-18, the nearly 200 Memphis to Peoria runners will hit the roads on our own, running day and night, logging our miles and sharing them virtually.
While this event won’t look like it has in the past, the kids of St. Jude need us now more than ever. Please donate if you are able. And if you aren't able this year, we'll happily take your prayers and well wishes.
Thanks so much for your support of this wonderful cause!
