I'm part of this year's relay team for the St. Jude Washington to Peoria Run. Please help me reach my fundraising goal for the kids of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, who are battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Thanks to generous donors:
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
I have been following the journey of a local family with a son who is Brandon's age. He is currently battling medulloblastoma, which is a type of brain cancer. He is a patient at St. Jude in Memphis. Each time I read his Mom's journal, my heart just aches for her and for all the children and families affected by cancer. Reading her journal also makes me appreciate the gift of health that Joe, the boys, myself, and so many we love have been given (so far). I would love it if you would donate to this amazing organization.
