Several years ago I started running the Morton to Peoria St. Jude run. A family friend's child was diagnosed with a brain tumor and I wanted to do more to help so I switched to the St. Jude Memphis to Peoria Run which I did for 7 years. I then returned to the Morton to Peoria run for a few years. My "Why" for rejoining the team in a Chef capacity was due to a family we know losing a son to cancer and another that became unstable. In honor of them, I have chosen to participate once again in fundraising. My running days are over but I still have much to give to this team. Please help me raise money to meet my required fundraising goal.
