Last year, and awesome young man named Max White was diagnosed with an aggresive and widely metastatic testicular cancer. He was only 17, and it seemed he might not even finish high school. In the fall he went to St Jude. I ran the marathon in 2020 for Max, but he was too sick to even get to his window and wave.
After a grueling Six Months, Max turned the corner, and improved. In April he was able to leave and finally return home!
This year we are going to build a team to raise a few bucks for St Jude! Remember that St Jude is 100% dependent on donations, and no organization has done anything close to their research and treatment into childhood cancers.
20 years ago, a young man like Max would not have survived his cancer diagnosis. But thanks to St Jude, Max will get into his life! How freakin awesome!
