St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend

Super Bailey

Our son, Bailey, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) on January 23, 2017.  He endured a year of chemo and his left femur was replaced with a titanium prosthesis.  In spite of multiple complications, our Bailey is doing great.  It is because of God and St. Jude that we have our son and we run in honor of him and the many kids and families that fight cancer every day.  Thank you for helping us!

With love, the Jessops

Our team wants to do more than run. We want to help run St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

We're fundraising while we train for our race so we can make a difference in the lives of kids with cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

  • Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
  • Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90%, and they won't stop until no child dies from cancer.

Join us as we help run St. Jude!
