St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend

OUR FAMILY'S REALITY in memory of Chase Bailey (4/2/99-8/18/15)

TEAMCHASEBAILEY77 will be running in the St. Jude Memphis Marathon Race to help raise money in memory of my son, Chase Bailey, and many more gone (Alexa Cooke, Destini Jenkins, Carson Head, Denver Shuttlesworth) but not forgotten. We are also running to honor Addi Dunavent, CJ Fletcher, Zack Noe, Sam Routon, Deuce Norsworthy and all the children fighting this battle.

Chase was diagnosed at 15 years old with Osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, on April 7, 2014 and his strong & courageous battle ended on August 18, 2015. Chase's journey can be found at

Our family was in shock when I received the phone call that Chase had cancer and St. Jude was waiting on us. We quickly learned that St. Jude was our only hope for treatment of this horrific disease. St. Jude quickly became our new family as we trusted them for our every move with Chase's medical care. St. Jude became our place of comfort and hope. St. Jude was not able to cure Chase's cancer but they gave him the very best medical care and they gave him the best Quality of Life as he fought this terrible disease. St. Jude taught Chase and our entire family how to value life on a daily basis. St. Jude will always be part of the Bailey family. This is why I'm committed to raising funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I'm ready to go the distance and so is teamchasebailey77 but we need your support.

I ask that as you think of Chase and all the other angels and warriors of childhood cancer, that you donate any amount your heart leads. No amount is too small. It costs $2 million a day to operate St. Jude. Did you know that 70% of the funds come from the public? That means your donation, no matter what the size, will help!

Thank you in advance for all of your donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Your donation can be made on line at and click DONATE or by sending your check made payable to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Please mail to me at 1510 Park Circle Drive, Clarksdale, MS 38614.

Please pray that all the children at St. Jude are cured of their cancer and can return home to live normal lives. Thank you for helping me support St. Jude!

Tracey Bailey

I am a St. Jude Hero! I have chosen to run for a reason bigger than myself by fundraising for the kids and families at St. Jude. I am training to cross the finish line on race day and with your donation we can cross the fundraising finish line together because the money you donate helps find a cure for childhood cancer.

Did you know:

Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90%, and they won't stop until no child dies from cancer.

St. Jude freely shares the discoveries it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.

Donate today to help me reach my goal. Even when the race is over, the fight to end childhood cancer continues.
