St. Jude Children's Hospital treats children with cancer, and they do it 100% for free for kids - covering all medical costs as well as transportation, food, and their stay for treatment.
My wife Annie and I were blessed with a beautiful, healthy and sweet boy, Leo, this past June. Our hearts are so full but they also ache for the countless families who are facing the battle of cancer with their children. We are encouraged by the work of St. Jude and want to do what we can to help in the efforts to fight childhood cancer.
On 18 September 2020 I will begin a 110 mile round trip trek from to the top of Mt Whitney, the tallest peak in the contiguous United States (the lower 48). I'll be starting the hike from the Sequoia National Park back-country to the 14,505 foot peak.
Please consider sponsoring me with a one-time gift or "sponsorship by-mile", for example $1 a mile, it all goes a long way toward reaching a $10,000 fundraising goal in support of St. Jude Children's Hospital and their mission to save children with cancer. If you cannot support financially, please consider sharing this with friends and keeping me in your prayers as I raise money and as I make the climb up Mt. Whitney. St. Jude is not stopping until no child dies from cancer, and neither will our support. Thanks for donating!
