To all of my family and friends:
In 2018, I decided to run the NYC Marathon as a test to myself. With your love and support, and many many hours hitting the pavement and wanting to give up, I was able to cross the finish line and achieve my goal.
In 2020, I have chosen to run the Chicago Marathon for a reason bigger than myself, by fundraising for the kids and families at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I am training to cross the finish line on race day in Chicago and with your donation we can cross the fundraising finish line together because the money you donate helps find a cure for childhood cancers.
Did you know:
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child to survive.
- Treatments developed at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
- St. Jude freely shares its research and encourages doctors and scientists worldwide utilize and implement that knowledge to treat and cure thousands more children.
Donate today to help me reach my goal. Even when the race is over, the fight to end childhood cancers continues!
