I was in treatment for leukemia at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital from ages 4-7.
St. Jude was my second home for those three years, and even now, I look forward to going back to my "family" every year for my check-up. My medical team was awesome! The volunteers who ran crafts and activities became my friends. Even the workers in the gift shops treated me like I was special. I want to do anything I can to support this amazing hospital.
Especially now. Even though our daily life has changed so much these last few months, kids are still being diagnosed with cancer every single day. And at the same time, fundraising and donations are down. I know this may be a hard time for everyone, but please, if it is at all possible, help me help my hospital.
I have committed to raising $3000 in the next 5 months. Will you please help me?
Did you know:
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
- St. Jude freely shares the discoveries it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
Donate today to help me reach my goal. Even when the race is over, the fight to end childhood cancer continues.
