Daulson has completed chemotherapy! He had his last dose of consolidation chemo on Sunday. He did great throughout the 5 days of treatment and never once got nauseous. Next on the list are scans on October 8th and 9th so please remember him in your prayers especially on those days. We are back home until he has to go back to Memphis for scans. He is walking great and no longer uses his walker. His appetite and energy levels have been great as well. Halloween might be his favorite holiday so he asked for some decorations to put up so he could scare the kids! Thanks everyone for the continued prayers for this strong little boy! #TeamDaulson
We finally got the call from Children's in Jackson today confirming that Daulson does in fact have Ewing's Sarcoma, but shortly after that call I got the "good" call from St. Jude's in Memphis telling us that we can come up there Thursday to get things rolling"
This little boy is to precious and been helped so much by the wonderful St.Jude not to want to give back to them. Cancer can happen to anyone's child at anytime. We would all pray the resources and facility as St Jude will be to care for our loves.
I am a St. Jude Hero! I have chosen to run for a reason bigger than myself by fundraising for the kids and families at St. Jude. I am training to cross the finish line on race day and with your donation we can cross the fundraising finish line together because the money you donate helps find a cure for childhood cancer.
Did you know:
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90%, and they won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
- St. Jude freely shares the discoveries it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
Donate today to help me reach my goal. Even when the race is over, the fight to end childhood cancer continues.
