This year, I have the privilege of running in the St. Jude Half Marathon to raise money for the kids and families at St. Jude. I am honored to be a part of "Adam's Army", a group of individuals running in honor of Adam Cruthirds. My brother, Luke Dulske, met Adam during his time at Rhodes College. Adam was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at St. Jude's Research Hospital in July of 2014. Since being diagnosed, Adam has raised $800,000 for St. Jude and is hoping to reach his goal of $1 million by December! Please join me in helping Adam to reach this goal!
Here are some incredible facts about St. Jude:
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90%, and they won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
- St. Jude freely shares the discoveries it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
Thank you so much for your support!
