In October 2018, I got into an accident that resulted in lots of pins and rods in my right leg, 2 surgeries, months of rehab, and the process continues. Through this experience, I learned a lot from the pain I felt and I often wondered what these kids feel during their cancer or sickle-cell treatments. I couldn't even imagine! Since God has given me a second chance to live, I decided to get back on track, figuratively and literally.
2019 is going to be a year dedicated to health and an ode to life. We are blessed in so many ways that we often forget to give back. Worry not! This is your opportunity to:
1) prove that you love me (joke!)
2) to give children and their families the gift of a happy and prosperous life through the work done at St. Jude.
Please donate to this fundraiser and help me reach my goal!
I love you no matter how much you give so no pressure (but come on! be generous :p)
Thank you & God Bless!
Did you know:
•Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
•Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90%, and they won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
•St. Jude freely shares the discoveries it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
Donate today to help me reach my goal. Even when the race is over, the fight to end childhood cancer continues.
