My wife Jacqueline has recently had a battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Thankfully, she beat it and is currently in remission for which I will always be so proud of her and forever thankful to God. I cannot pretend to know the pain or fears associated with having any type of cancer, nor do I know the courage it takes to confront the hard facts and begin a battle for which you pray you will be victorious. All I know is, being by my wife's side through the process and watching her battle this disease was extremely difficult. It was difficult for me to watch my wife, a grown woman go through it, but I cannot imagine the fear that goes through the mind of a child or the parents of that child that has to confront any kind of cancer.
It's not right, it's not fair and and the thought of any innocent child having to battle this at such an early age is heartbreaking. I've helped raise funds for many causes in the past, including St. Jude's, I cannot think of a more worthy cause to raise funds for, than innocent children that are in a fight that they have no business being in. Kids should be in a playground playing, not a hospital fighting for their lives.
These innocent kids are the reasons I choose to to raise funds for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. St. Jude's cares tirelessly for these children while also seeking cures for all types of cancers and other diseases everyday, all without presenting their parents with a single invoice. Amazing!
St. Jude's kindly labels fundraisers as heroes, although I appreciate that kindness, it's the children in the hospital that are the TRUE HEROES!!
I ask you to please join me in helping them!! Any donation that you are able to afford would be a blessing to the kids and greatly appreciated.
